Children's Programs

Mission Road provides residential care for children (3 to 17 years of age) with intellectual and other developmental disabilities in five homes on our 22-acre South San Antonio campus.  Mission Road cares for children from all areas of Texas.

Happy Children - Intact Families

Mission Road Ministries annually offers the S.O.A.R. - Summer Outreach and Recreation - Program to our resident children as well as children from the community with intellectual developmental disabilities (IDD).

Children in our Custodial Residential Care program have been removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect or exploitation and are placed with Mission Road by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.

For all families Monday through Friday is a steady stream of work, school, meals, sports activities, homework...and the list goes on and on. The hope is that at the end of that hectic work week, the weekend arrives to give us a much needed break.

Mission Road Ministries' children's programs provide residential care for children ages 3-17 years of age who have moderate, specialized or intensive levels of an intellectual developmental disability. Mission Road serves children from all over Texas.
